The YODECO Merit Awards 2025, organized by the Youth Democratic Coalition, is a flagship initiative designed to celebrate outstanding contributions to society. Under the theme “Your Vote, Your Power,” this project serves as a bridge between community performance and public recognition.

Our Objective

This project aims to foster a culture of accountability and excellence across various sectors in Nigeria. By highlighting “Work, Impact, and Recognition,” we encourage public servants, entrepreneurs, and athletes to strive for higher standards that benefit the youth and the nation at large.

Award Categories & Scope

The 2025 edition covers 22 distinct categories, ensuring a comprehensive look at societal growth:

• Governance: Recognizing the most productive Senators, House of Reps members, and Local Government Chairmen.
• Innovation & Industry: Honoring entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and pioneering industrialists.
• Sports & Education: Celebrating male and female athletes, para-athletes, and academic excellence within Kwara State and beyond.
